Mason Communications was hired to do second unit directing for Episode 3, Season 2 of the Netflix Original Series House of Cards, starring Kevin Spacey and Robin Wright. IM used its 4K Digital Cinemetography camera, the SONY FS-700 to shoot for the Emmy and Golden Globe winning drama. 

In addition to providing location scouting services, Mason Communications also delivered a computer-generated fly-through of locations, which included specific camera elevations, required for these shots.

After working with the L.A. production office, Mason Communications helped recommend a particular location, and shot from the rooftop bar 360, located atop the Hyatt Hotel downtown. A specially-built platform was brought in, to accomodate the camera and crew for the shoot.
